I was special invitee at Function and received award at Teachers Home, Bathinda.
I am a proud son of this great personality !!

Today, 1^st December, 2012, I am with my Dad’s friends at Bathinda, Punjab.

Feeling that my feet have become bigger to fit in father’s shoes. Though, I am nowhere in front of him, but just trying to maintain relations which he has created over his life. Otherwise what we are ? if we remove relations, emotions  and feeling and from our life – we are merly a flesh and collection of biological mechanisms which runs our body  and keep us alive(like heart, lever, brain etc).

Today, I am in at Artist Gurpreet’s house in Bhatinda. He made me feel special because of his respect for my father. Thru Gurpreet, I felt connected with Sagar Sahib’s soul – wherever it is !!

My life is filled with golden moments which I spent with a great man. His greatness lied in being simple, humble, gentle, hard working, passionate and focused.  

As a son, I look back to my childhood, adolescent years and adulthood – there is so much to share about him not only as a father, but also as a human being.  Organized a Musical tribute to pay homage to this remarkable man who was firstly ‘A noble person’  and was then ‘An Artist’. Special

Artist Sagar is not with us from exactly last 1 year (9^th Nov 2011). He must be watching his friends and family members organizing Art Events in his remembrance since he left.
 

Recently, a Musical Tribute was given to him by a organization “Dreams Unlimited”. His close associates & friends, his loving students and family members have attended this exclusive event which was by invitation only.  The event was possible only because of guidance and support from Dr. Bhim Inder Singh and Mam Nivedita Singh (Punjabi University).

Renowned Ghazal Singer from Ludhiana, Mr. Randhir Kanwal (who is also his student) came specially to soak the audience with his unique singing style. He specially  came to Patiala just for this occasion at Sagar’s residence, which is now a ‘Centre for Art promotion and talent development’.

A highly talented classical singer from Punjabi University Patiala and a Tabla Player (from Punjab Ghrana) has also volunteered to spell bound the audience with their talent.

I asked question to Naqsh and Sparsh - What have you done from Paril 2012 to August 2012 ?

The asnwers I got made me happy in a way that LOT has happened for their development :

1.       Monthly target setting and review

2.       Family values workshop at home and given scoring to all children (Karan, Naqsh, Sparsh and Manan)

3.       Tour to Junga in March and Manali/Manikarna Sahib/ Naggar in June 2012.

4.       Spent holiday time at native home Patiala and Nanu home Yamunanagar

5.       Naqsh put braces at teeth

6.       Naqsh started learning Martial Arts at Ryan school.

7.       Naqsh and Sparsh enrolled in Radio Jockey course

8.       Sparsh won Danik Bhaskar ‘Brain Hunt’ completion and stood 1 in Four States (Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and Chandigarh). He won video game and was rewarded by his principal.

9.       Sparsh has won a picture colouring contest of Hindustan times in July  

10.   Sparsh won ‘zero cross’ completion in his class from his monitors (Girish, Mansi and Upneet)

11.   Sparsh is developing a concept of “New App Store” – Games, Wall papers , emails, editor choice)

12.   Sparsh played lot of games on computer and my Glaxy Note mobile and his PSP. Now he is bored from PSP

13.   Sparsh did little bit of skating in school

14.   Sparsh got new hair cut (army cut)

15.   Naqsh is taking part in ‘7 cream jugs’ play written by ‘Tom Conklin’

16.   We watched ‘Rowdy Rathore’ at Chandigarh

17.   Naqsh made model of ‘Lungs’ as part of her holiday work

18.   Sparsh self composed poem on Summer

19.   Naqsh’s article got selected for Ryan School’s Magazines (Annual edition)

20.   We made video by using Sanyo ‘Handycam’ and ‘Windows Movie Maker’ on topic of ‘How to stay healthy’

21.   Helped in cleaning of Patiala house in July

22.   Naqsh made gift (decorated looking glass ) on mother’s day

23.   Naqsh made ‘Friendship bands’ by her own hands

24.   Naqsh made few paintings on computer and is ready with almost 50 paintings for exhibition

25.   Naqsh and Sparsh have scored good marks in routine tests

26.   Naqsh and Sparsh have grown tall by 1 inch in last 1 year

27.   Sparsh has stopped putting finger in mouth

28.   Sparsh started eating egg on Sunday

29.   Naqsh learnt to prepare ‘Maggie’ and tea

30.   Naqsh is becoming fluent in ‘French Language’

31.   Naqsh’s eye lashes are as beautiful as ever

32.   Naqsh has plans to teach computer to Mom

33.   Naqsh has learnt to play badminton and she sometimes play with Papa and Mama in morning before going to school

34.   Naqsh tied Rakhi to Sparsh

35.   Naqsh made parrot by using collage technique

Today, a dream of an "open air photography" was realised at 'Dreams Unlimited' Patiala. A 'set' was made on yard and background was prepared in such a way that it looks like a place on mountains. Pictures of my family was clicked fro experiment. One can't believe that the pictures seems to be clicked on mountains.

Found a guru. It was exact 101 steps away from my home in Chandigarh. The answers to my questions are being answered like

Are we body or soul

What happens after death

How we take re-birth

How long soul remains after leaving body

What is 'karma'

What we are supposed to do on this eartgh....and many more.

Now I know - I am a soul, which is present in my body. I (my soul) is experiencing lot of peace. This is healing my injuries. Thank You GOD.

Dream's Unlimited Hoarding - As put at my home to signify Sagar AC's committment and contribution to Art field.

Activity 1 :
Venue : An Unknown Village (Dulwan Khadri) where people reach hardly and aids reach hardly.

Action : 64 School children, Village Head (Sarpanch), School Teachers  joined myself, my wife and my 2 kids (Naqsh 12 Yrs and Sparsh 9 Yrs Now) in celebration of B’Day of Sagar AC in unique manner. It was celebrated as 'Talent Development Day'.

Children sang songs, Poems, shown their talent and were given prizes. Bright students who stand apart in classes were also awarded.

  Next action – Not leaving them behind...Selected children (from this and 15^th Jan activity) will be brought together and 1 day Art Workshop wile be organised to upgrade their talent in fine arts.

Activity 2 :

Venue : Our home (88, Punjabi Bagh, Patiala, Punjab, India).

Activity : Display of ‘Sagar’s Dreams Unlimited’  board on main gate- opening my home to public by converting it into an art centre. To begin with;  ‘open air photography sessions’ are  being organised with help of my father’s best friend (Jatinder Sharma-photographer ) who runs ‘Anupama Studio’ at Patiala from last 5 decades.

I spoke to Media persons at my home and we showcased our home (as art centre). The news was in air for number of times on 3^rd March on many channels.

Paintings, Sketches of Sagar AC were captured in camera and e-library for hsi art work is in making. This will preserve his work forever.

Next action – A documentary film on life and work of Sagar AC is in making which will be available for public in April 2012.

Further development ....A little change in name of foundation....
