Big Thank you to all for suggesting name of ART FOUNDATION which is being started in loving memory of Sagar A.C. Friends, The most important criteria for selection was to have a name which can depict Sagar's Vision, unlimited energy, zeal, selflessness, dedication, simplicity, hard work and willingness to make positive impact on life everyone he meets. We wanted to make it generic enough to have a larger canvas to play with. Finally we selected the name as :

"DREAMS UNLIMITED"
(Centre of Excellence for Talent Development).

Stay tuned to hear on activities and also to get invite for participation in whichever way you wish !!

Dad with my kids.

Posting this pic to keep him alive. Working on project for him. 1st step is to create a foundation / start an institute with a vision "to engage youth and develop capabilities not only in field of art but in other spheres as well".

Have I stated his vision correctly - may be !!
........but its good to begin with- i think.

Wish if someone volunteers to join the movement (only time and affection required)

Sagar's studio at Chandigarh, as he left behind on 9th Nov 2011 at 1130 am. This is clicked by me today as I have returned from Patiala after his cremation and Antim Ardaas ceremony. I still wonder why he created a picture of a lady covering her face and also not sure what he meant by putting back side of canvas on his workstation. May be this was un international or may not be. But one thing was there for sure - that he was full of life and wanted to live another life. He created a empire of art works, tools, raw material for paintings and sculptures at his studios and home. He touched life each one he met and interacted. Taught many during his life and instilled values and creativity in them.

He lives and will live with you till I will live.

During his Antim Ardaas yesterday, I was weeping and looking at people coming to pay obeisance - I realised that each person who is coming forward has a unique story with him. And each story is a long story - a story which span years (and not days). He had different level of interaction with every one he met, He impacted live of each one he interacted in different way. His friends are from all age groups be it 20 years to 90 years. The man of values and principles as left behind a gems inside us. The treasures are spread across and the job starts to re-collect them and form a strong community for the cause of ART so that the 'journey' he has chosen to give back to society and preserve heritage continues .....
Sagar left this earth on 9th Nov. He will life till I live. I expect my son to say so as well in order to preserve what Sagar Artist did during hsi life and what I will do for him in years to come. (But it is too much to expect from him as he is too small) hope he would understand it one day and join me in this pursuit.

Not denying the reality. Not disagreeing with God's decision to take him away from this earth, but also not allowing him to die and fade away from this earth till my last breath....and that’s a mission. Stay tuned, Sagar is alive in me and those who love him !!

Today, We had a privilege to hear Artist Sidharath at Art Gallery of Chandigarh. We were late to enter. Dad was on wheel chair (to surprise of him and all). As soon as I pushed his wheel chair in Auditorium, Sidharath recognised him and greeted him with great affection and called Dad one of the finest sculptor and our home a place of worship. He recalled his dates with us shared with audience. This is a big honor for our family to get noticed and have appreciation from person of high acclaim like Sidharath.

He made us stay till end of the program rightfully. I have yet to meet such a affectionate person in my life, who believe in others genuinely and help others selflessly (perhaps this is one attribute of his which make him great man and we have a lesson here to learn).

He painted and sang as well in the session. This aspect of Sidharath was unknown to many including us. He is multi facet personality and I feel he dreams and realise them as well.

May god bless him for all the goods he is doing to this world.
